Earlier today, Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken official blog updated with news about the release date to the 12 additional characters in SFXTK. That date is Tuesday July 31, prior to the planned October 2 release for your PlayStation Vita version of SFXTK. Capcom originally stated how the characters would become available for the console versions time after the Vita version release, but because of the massive outcry from players, that date was shifted forward.

While much of this was discussed at EVO, Ayano stated how the new character DLC wasn't a simple unlock, but additionally contains “final touch data.” A part of that final touch was the battle data for your new characters, which required delicate handling.

Directer Okada also provided more information about the balance adjustments which they discussed throughout the aforementioned EVO panel.

Ryu

On block, the absolute maximum frame advantage for Air Tatsumaki Senpukyaku is reduced from +11 in ver1.05 to +6 in ver1.06. Hitbox is smaller, movement amount is reduced.
HK Joudan Sokuto Geri has become -6 on block, reduced from -1.

Ken
On block, the absolute maximum frame advantage for Air Tatsumaki Senpukyaku is reduced from +11 to +6. Hitbox is smaller, movement amount is reduced.

Rolento
st.LP frame advantage on block is reduced from +4 to ±0.

Juri
Kaisen Dankairaku (Super Art) damage reduced from 350 to 300.

Akuma
On block, the absolute maximum frame advantage for Air Tatsumaki Senpukyaku is reduced from +12 to +7. Hitbox is smaller, movement amount is reduced.

Yoshimitsu
(During forward jump) when the first hit of B+LK→MK connects which has a mid-air opponent, the next hit will combo.

Raven
st.LP reduced from +3 to +1on block.
Juggle limit for cr.HP reduced from 5 to three.

Xiaoyu
Juggle limit for cr.HK reduce from 6 to three.
Xiaoyu comes with an increased juggle limit against air opponents, enabling moves like Hakkesho for connecting.

Beyond Hakkesho, Xiaoyu may also juggle along with other moves after normal attacks, so try out a variety of combos.

In addition, the Combo Editor Boost Gem Packs (one for your SF side and one for your TK side), that allows for free customization of Quick Combos, is scheduled to produce on Tuesday July 10, combined with the free Additional Color Palette 5 along with the Wild Card Booster Gem Pack 3.
